In the same way, we want to take care of our environment and do our part so that it remains beautiful and worth living in! In order to be able to change and ultimately improve things, trusted methods have to be questioned and new paths have to be taken. At ARTEBENE, this has led to a new product range that is sustainably beautiful. ORGANICS - THE GREEN WAY OF ARTEBENE focuses on the beauty of nature and uses recycled and natural materials for selected product concepts. In our endeavours, we have now been officially awarded the German Sustainability Award 2024.
Good for the environment, beautiful on the table! The new ORGANICS napkins are made of 100% unbleached recycled paper and impress with their natural elegance. They are produced in Germany in an energy and water-saving process and are kind to the environment.
Green can be so beautiful! Sustainability also means developing products that give pleasure for a long time. Jute is considered the strongest and most durable natural fibre which ensures the high durability of our bags. Since it is completely biodegradable, it is of course part of the new ORGANICS range.
We have taken our campaign "Use me twice - so our world stays nice" even further and developed gift packaging made of untreated and unbleached cotton that has a longer life and is 100% recyclable as part of the ORGANICS range. Thanks to their high grammage, nothing shines through and so they can be used to give joy year after year, whether at Easter, Christmas or birthdays.
Grass paper is an absolute novelty in the ORGANICS family and sets new standards in sustainability for gift wrapping and cards. Unlike wood, grass is a fast-growing raw material that has a better eco-balance and protects the environment. For example, 75% less CO2 emissions and 80% less water are used in its production.
Whether it is a gift bag or a gift box - kraft paper gives gift packaging a particularly natural look and consists almost solely of cellulose. The material is particularly easy to recycle and therefore also a natural member of our ORGANICS product family.
Our closeness to nature is also reflected in our stationery products: For example, the new ORGANICS notebooks made of kraft paper are particularly easy to recycle and ressource-friendly at the same time. In addition, there is no plastic cover. The jute pencil cases match the natural look perfectly and provide any desk with a sustainable upgrade.
Setting an example, becoming a role model and encouraging people to join in - for us, this is also part of sustainable product range management. Therefore, two other initiatives on the topic of sustainability and awareness raising are particularly close to our hearts.
With the campaign "No plastic bag - Let's keep our planet green", we are reducing outer packaging in our whole range and would like to raise awareness for the topic of waste prevention. For example, a whole range of notebooks, notepads and greeting cards have no additional plastic wrapping so packaging waste is being reduced actively. A great side effect: the products and the elaborate workmanship are much more visible and it is truly enjoyable to feel the quality.
As part of the campaign "Use me twice, so our world stays nice", we would like to draw attention to the fact that our gift bags can be used to spread joy several times over. Thanks to their high-quality material, grammage and finish, there is nothing to stop them from being used several times. This makes giving gifts twice as much fun and is also sustainable.
Even beloved products have a lifespan and must be disposed of at the end. But that is not where the issue of sustainability ends.
