We see ourselves as a community and therefore think not only about the lives of our employees, but also about their families. That is why we have been supporting the Yadav family since 2022 by covering the costs for the school education of little Aaradhya, who has therefore been attending kindergarten since March 2022.
As a female brand, we want to strengthen the role of girls and women in society. Thus, we are now supporters of UN Woman. In doing so, we advocate for gender equality and strengthen the rights of women and girls worldwide. Furthermore, as a climate-neutral company, we now also operate a climate-neutral website.
Every human being leaves a carbon footprint. We at ARTEBENE are no exception. And because we love the environment just as much as we love our products, we are delighted that we are now a climate-neutral company. In addition, as part of our CSR initiatives, we have taken on the sponsorship of a girl in Cambodia through Plan International.
Sustainability determines our daily actions with the aim of being a sustainable brand. To this end, we have appointed a CSR officer who regularly pursues new projects with an interdisciplinary team. In addition to many product improvements and the new product range "ORGANICS - THE GREEN WAY OF ARTEBENE", we have consistently implemented and reviewed the requirements of the UN Global Compact in the supply chains.
For our vision of sustainable action, we have joined theUN Global CompactInitiative. With over 7,000 participating companies, the UN Global Compact is now the world's largest network for sustainable and responsible corporate governance in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and corruption prevention. We also received the German Brand Award for our holistic approach to brand management.
We have advanced digitalisation in our company with various projects. For example, our sales department now works with a digital price list instead of paper and our dealers can shop even more conveniently in the new B2B shop.
30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Back to the future: The 30th anniversary is celebrated appropriately with a legendary 80s party, joined by all international colleagues and subsidiaries.
The new, modern central warehouse was built next to our headquarters at the "Red Office". The hardworking warehouse and logistics staff complete our team here. Furthermore, ARTEBENE is honoured with the "Top 100" award for exemplary innovation processes and its excellent inventive spirit.
Our designers were the first to move into our new home - the "Red Office" in Lüdinghausen. One year later, the team from the company headquarters followed with colleagues from Purchasing, Customer Service, Accounting and Marketing.

Finally, in 2010, ARTEBENE Papel y Diseño S.L. is established in Barcelona. Our South European sales force as well as our showroom in Sant Cugat are the backbone for optimal support for our customers in Spain, Portugal and Greece.
ARTEBENE @ LONDON
ARTEBENE Limited is founded in 2008. The company is situated in South London and is our base for looking after our customers in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. We invoice in both Pound Sterling and Euros.
In 2007, the subsidiary ARTEBENE S.a.r.l. is established in Sarreguemines, France, following our conviction: All business is local.
In the course of a succession in 2005, the company’s founders hand over the baton to today’s owners – Beate and Dr. Rüdiger Kress. Their declared aim: Developing the German supplier to a European brand
ARTEBENE was established in Lüdinghausen in 1985. A lot has changed since then. Having started with just 2 employees, staff has grown quickly to 40 – and also our product range has been extended continuously. ARTEBENE quickly became a substantial supplier to retailers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
